          “No man is an island”, a cliché that tells us we need companions in this world. Of course, we have our family but we spend most of our time with our friends.  These people are the ones we can count on when we are facing hindrances in our life. We consider them true friends.

          But what comprises a true friend? A true friend is one whom you can trust especially with your deepest secrets. He keeps your secrets without thinking twice. He is always willing to help you no matter how hard your problem is. He supports you in every decision you make. He is not jealous of what you have; instead he is happy for what you have achieved. He does not compete with you, but helps you pursue your dream. He does not leave you alone especially when you need him the most.

          Lucky are those who have true friends. If you happen to have one, treasure them because they will accept you for who you are. Do not make anything that will ruin your friendship. They are the most precious gifts from God.

`this article was originally made by our group in english [ivy, lyka, cazy, niziel, thrish] we were asked by our prof to make a stipulated definition about principles or concepts that we do not usually see in a dictionary. actually this was supposed to be individually and then i thought of this topic "TRUE FRIEND" because i was really disappointed to one of my classmates who happen to be a friend to all of us but she made something that made this friendship break. actually last sem we also had something like this, a fight i mean (nasa xanga ko un eh) so from that topic, we thought of ideas that would really stuck a person (or ever her) if she happen to read it.. so there that was.. we presented this yesterday and we wrote it in a manila paper and posted on the board.. someone reacted more like of "parang kilala ko yan ha…." ehehe.. then that was it.. i just hope this thing struck her. i hope that this would help her change her attitude if ever she understood it.. (lewlsz) ehehe…`
